Ambrosia Maple Wizard's Walking Stick - Galaxy Sphere headpiece and on an Ambrosia Maple shaft

My walking sticks are great costume pieces but serve just as well for a good hiking stick. Sturdy and meant to used and should last a lifetime
This Ambrosia Maple was carved to extenuate the flow of the grain and has a hammered details near the headpiece.
The Sphere head piece was caste and then pinned with quarter inch mild steel and then fastened deep into the top of the staff with resin. All this work makes the head piece feel like a part of the wood.
Staff was finish with a leather collar and three coats of lacquer.
73 inches tall. (to give you a sense of scale our model is 5’10”)
