My Canes are beautiful accessories to any fantasy costume. Sturdy and meant to used and should last a lifetime. My canes do not come with any type of foot for stability, but are carved to accept a standard rubber tip for more security if you like.
This Kiaat was carved to bring out the fantastically figured grain. Truly amazing swirling complexity in the grain of this wood.
The Cholla at the center of the head piece is an amazing cactus wood from the south western United States.
The Cholla resin head piece was caste and then pinned with quarter inch mild steel and then fastened deep into the top of the cane with resin. All this work makes the head piece feel like a part of the wood.
Cane was finish with three coats of lacquer and a leather collar.
48 inches tall. (to give you a sense of scale our model is 5’10”)
