Walnut Scepter - Green Gem resin head piece on a Walnut shaft

My Scepters are beautiful accessories to any fantasy costume. Sturdy and meant to used and should last a lifetime
This walnut was carved to accentuate the rich and varied grain.
The Gem head piece was caste and then pinned with quarter inch mild steel and then fastened deep into the top of the scepter with resin. All this work makes the head piece feel like a part of the wood.
Scepter was finish with three coats of lacquer and a two toned wrapped wire handle.
26 inches tall. (to give you a sense of scale our model is 5’10”)
